IPL 2022: Full Coverage

The sky will be largely clear throughout the day, but rain and wind will pick up as the night progresses. The match between GT and Rajasthan is scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM, and the rain might come down on Eden Gardens during 8 PM.

It is possible that the rain might not cover the entire game and dies down after an hour. The skies are predicted to be clear after 9 PM which means that the captains will have a call to make. It is likely that whoever wins the toss chooses to bowl first in the match to get the help of the Kolkata breeze.

Both Gujarat and Rajasthan have good proponents of fast bowling which will be aided by the conditions at Eden Gardens. While Gujarat will have Bengal’s Mohammad Shami, Rajasthan will hope to unleash New Zealand’s Trent Boult. If the bowlers are able to find a touch of movement in the surface, they can turn out to be very dangerous in the first playoffs game.

The match between the two teams begins at 7:30 PM IST.
